Privacy policy

How MYCAM handles device information, purchases, media features and support requests.

Updated 2 October 2026

1. Who handles your information

This notice covers the MYCAM website and MYCAM software and services operated under the name Destiny. Contact the MYCAM support address below for questions, access requests or deletion requests. Payment processors and third-party apps also have their own privacy notices.

2. Information used by MYCAM

  • Access and device information: installation identifiers, hashed device identifiers, app version, device model, Android version, integrity results and subscription or activation-key records used to verify access and troubleshoot compatibility.
  • Payment records: provider name, order or transaction references, amount, currency, payment state, subscription identifiers, renewal and cancellation status, billing-period dates and related access records. Checkout providers collect payment details. Do not send full card details to MYCAM support.
  • Accounts and cloud features: where you sign in or choose online voice, translation or AI tools, account identifiers and the text, media or audio needed for that request may be sent to our backend and the service provider handling it.
  • Support: messages, issue descriptions and information you choose to share. Live support may send diagnostic logs, app/engine state, selected target-app package, device details and Live3D import errors while the session is active.
  • Website requests: the hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser information and request logs when delivering these pages and assets.

3. Photos, video, voice and permissions

Local media and Live3D processing use the files and permissions needed for the selected feature. Selecting a local photo is distinct from submitting media to an optional cloud tool. Cloud AI requests can upload the selected source media; online voice and translation tools can send the text or audio needed to process your request.

If you send a camera feed or stream to a third-party app, that app's handling of the feed is governed by its own terms and privacy notice. Only use faces, voices and other personal media with the necessary permission. You can revoke device permissions in system settings, although the related feature may then stop working.

4. Why information is processed

We use information to deliver purchased access, validate official builds, operate requested features, handle payments and refunds, prevent abuse, secure services and respond to support requests. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of the service contract, legitimate interests in security and support, applicable legal obligations, or consent where required. You can withdraw consent for optional processing without affecting earlier lawful processing.

5. Service providers and sharing

MYCAM uses Google/Firebase infrastructure for backend services, authentication, storage and related operations. Optional cloud features may use external AI or voice providers, including ElevenLabs where configured. Only the data needed for the requested feature should be submitted.

Payment methods offered in the app use their named provider, such as NOWPayments or Flutterwave. Stripe continues to handle historical Stripe transactions while new checkout is paused. When FastSpring checkout is enabled, FastSpring processes purchaser, billing and subscription data under its privacy notice. MYCAM uses payment and subscription status updates to provide paid access, handle renewals and cancellations, and resolve billing issues.

This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. Links and tutorial content may involve GitHub, YouTube, Telegram and other third parties. Following a link or loading embedded content can share your network/browser information with that provider. These pricing and policy pages do not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts or marketing cookies.

We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users and services. Providers may process information outside your country, with protections required by applicable law.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the relevant service, maintain access records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse or meet legal accounting requirements. Local files you retain on your device remain under your control. Support and cloud-processing records may have different retention needs; contact us to request deletion or details about a specific record.

Access restrictions and other safeguards are used to protect service data, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your support codes and activation keys private.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Send requests privately to our support email and identify the relevant account or order without sending passwords or full payment credentials. We may need to verify ownership before acting. Some records must be retained for legal obligations or unresolved disputes.

You can stop an active support session, avoid optional cloud features, revoke permissions and uninstall the app. Uninstalling does not automatically delete server-side payment or account records. You may complain to your local data-protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office where applicable.

8. Updates

We update this notice when processing or services change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Contact us before sending sensitive information if you are unsure how a feature handles it.
